1999 BMW E39 M5 Avus BlueHello and welcome to the extremely reluctant sale of my beautiful M5.I have only owned the vehicle since the 15th of March this year however completely unforeseen change in my personal circumstance has arisen and have no other alternative than to sell my beloved car. Please note that any seriously interested parties will be made fully aware of my situation as to why am selling her, it is something that do not wish to make public knowledge.Please allow me the time here to make it clear that looked at other E39's over period of almost years, literally travelled the country hunting for an excellent example before found this beautiful car. Every now and again an excellent example does pop up for sale, this is definitely one of those rare ones.She has full and comprehensive service history comprising of 15 main dealer stamps including the important running in service which was carried out at 1344 miles. The servicing was then carried out at the following intervals ALL by main dealers:12,636 miles. 23,977 miles. 29,590 miles. 38,177 miles. 53,264 miles. 68,556 miles. 75,184 miles. 77,856 miles. 83,918 miles. 85,951 miles. 90.754 miles. 92,901 miles and most recently 95,867 miles. also have the corresponding invoices that match the service stamps in the book. The car has green service lights on so she doesn't need any servicing for quite some time although it is currently scheduled for service in September, purely because she is close to 100K just wanted it done. also have EVERY MOT certificate and she has been run on momentum 99 super unleaded.The VANOS units were serviced by Darren Wood BMW at 95,342 miles (invoice included) and the diff seals were replaced at 94,989 miles also by Darren Wood BMW (with invoice)The technicians at Darren Wood informed the former keeper of this vehicle that this car is in great condition and is keeper. If you wish this information to be confirmed, please contact me and will give you the name of the previous owner, company director in his 50's, and you can contact Darren Wood with this information and have that confirmed by arguably the best specialist in the UK.She comes with TWO sets of handbooks, the original books when new and the set that was given to the second keeper, who owned the car from 2002 until 2015. also have the vehicles' original options list. She has keys, two drivers keys, one emergency key and the plastic valet key. The other key is a later flip style key which the previous owner had purchased as he didn't want any more wear on the originals. The black and white folder in the picture with the books contains all the invoices in chronological order.The previous owner also had the car terra-cleaned before purchased the vehicle and even went as far as to send samples of the engine oil away for analysis to see what, if any, deposits were being left in the oil. Again, have the paperwork for this.The coachwork is finished in avus blue and the car has absolutely no rust whatsoever. have hand washed the car myself EVERY week without fail and cleaned the interior every week. The leather has been treated once month and the car is hand polished once month also.The totally unmarked 18" alloy wheels are wearing Michelin pilot sport tyres with reasonable amount of tread remaining on each one although the front tyres are scrubbed on the outer edges they have been inspected and given clean bill of health.The engine bay is fantastic condition, very very clean indeed. The air boxes have been replaced with two carbon fibre units housing K&N filters and do have the original pipework, boxes and filters which will go with the car.She has also had the angel eye headlamp upgrade, again have the original lights and they will also be sold with the car. She also has the carbon fibre kidney grills.The exhaust rear silencer boxes have been upgraded and they deliver wonderful burble and rumble which compliments the V8 superbly as the car moves through the rev range, unfortunately do not have the original pieces.She has full and complete on board tool kit, even went as far as to purchase the emergency sunroof winder even though she in non sunroof model, purely because there is space for it in the toolbox. The complete, original and unused first aid kit and the original BMW torch in the glove compartment. The leather interior is in excellent condition for 18 years old, the alcantara headlining is also in perfect condition. The stereo head unit is Dynavin N6 sat nav system. ALL the pixels on the dash are present and correct and she is fitted with TRACKER aswell as the alarm and immobiliser.Although my car is in fabulous condition, there are few points that will make clear. The boot carpet is worn in places, it could do with replacing however there is carpet over it at the moment. The cargo net is missing and the 6cd changer is also missing. These items were on my list to replace however it is no longer viable for me to do so. If these issues are addressed the car will then be complete.I know there are other E39's out there that are cheaper than mine, or newer than mine, or even slightly more expensive than mine. actively encourage you to go and view other cars, go through their computers and record their MPG and average speed figures. Then come and see mine, see my cars' fuel return and coupled with its paperwork, am sure your mind would be made up rather rapidly.I am open to offers and negotiation (within reason) so if you do have something in mind please feel free to ask.If the vehicle does sell you are very welcome to leave holding deposit and the balance on collection which would preferably be cash or bank transfer.
