:“Car has very few cosmetic flaws, and has had over $3500 in major services completed within the last six months including: oil and spark plug service, rear differential bushing replacement, clutch replacement, and SMG software update. Car is due for brake service, and would benefit from new rear tires- I would have the services performed, but I ship out for the Navy soon and must sell the car before that time. Car does have some minor quirks as well- please see pictures and description. Car is sold as is with no warranty or guarantee explicit or implied.”

If you're like me, you're probably wondering if it's worth risking your substantial investment on an car- it's no secret that they carry reputations for being money pits. The people who make those claims have never gotten behind the wheel of the second generation M6- the only regret that have regarding this car is that have to sell it.
This car originally stickered for $103,190.00 (that's $122,966 in inflation adjusted dollars) ten years ago, and it certainly shows. Although upon opening the door you find yourself climbing into the lap of luxury, pushing in the vehicle start button brings to life the roar of 500 HP of German engineering, exhibiting perfect balance of refined comfort and absolute raw power. This is further exhibited on mashing in the throttle, as the car rockets you from 0-60 in stomach dropping 4.1 seconds, all while cradling you in its supple leather and soft ambient lighting.
There isn't an inch of this car that wasn't meticulously designed and refined- documentary by the Discovery Channel was even filmed on the process, aptly named "The Birth of Sports Car." Refinements over the base series include the massive engine and transmission upgrades, carbon-fiber roof, improved handling, acoustics, and obviously curb appeal. This is supercar that can comfortably be daily driven. The SMG transmission gives all of the benefits of manual gearbox (because it is one) while leaving the driver free to enjoy the car as though it were an automatic. Two pedals, 100% control.
There are some downsides to this car. You won't want to drive anything else. You'll lose sleep at night thinking about getting back behind the wheel. You'll change your attitude and style to match the exquisite class of the car. And worst of all, you'll turn heads everywhere you go. The rare and perfect combination of this car's exterior/interior color scheme and gorgeous Remus exhaust note (see video below) attracts more attention than penguin in Hawaiian shirt in downtown Chicago. Not to mention the rarity- haven't come across another second generation M6 during my ownership of this car, so it'll be understandable when you turn heads driving the only one of its kind in your area. Therefore, this car is not for the anti-social. Gas stations, grocery store parking lots, even at red lights, anywhere this car is stopped men and women alike will come up and ask questions or to sit for second in the passenger seat of the car. Do not buy this car if you don't want the attention.
As was stated above, the car has had some major services completed in the past six months. However, the car does have minor quirks, including the aforementioned brake service. would have the services performed myself, except my Naval preparations are taking up all of my time (I procrastinated on selling the car, it's just that good.) However, the car drives like dream, especially due to the new clutch and SMG update. It would easily be comfortable in the company of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, or Aston Martin.
This spectacular California car will be yours for less than the price of an economy sedan. In fact, with the car's price seemingly bottoming out, it could appreciate in value in future years, similar to the E46. I'm starting the auction well below its valuation (closer to the value of frame damaged car), because like said, I'm active duty and need help getting it off my hands. However, if like me you fall in love with this car (I flew from Delaware to California to purchase it), the $27,000 buy it now button reflects the market price. The mileage may increase slightly as try to enjoy the car as much as can.
Purchasing this car was the best decision I've ever made; it can be the same for you. Contact me at 302-312-9955 with any questions, concerns, or to set up test drive- want you to be comfortable with your purchase. Don't let this deal get away- you'll be hard pressed to find this specific combination at this price any time soon.
Would appreciate car being picked up on or before July 7th, 2016. However, it is not absolutely necessary (but trust me, you'll want to be behind the wheel as soon as possible). Will assist buyer with transportation or shipping arrangements if possible.
