 For Sale is my 1988 BMW 635csi.  This is the classic E24 chassis, and straightrust-free examples like this are getting harder & harder to come by. The VIN is WBAEC841XJ3266203.  It is ???Lachssilber Metallic??? (203) exteriorover ???Silber Leder??? (201) interior, and was produced on May 25th,1987. As of this writing on July 29,2017, the odometer shows 315,297 miles, but is recently no longeroperational.   I acquired this car in January2016 from another BMW enthusiast, and had hopes to restore it (but I??�ve got toomany projects).  The engine is the 3.5L M30inline six-cylinder, and the transmission is an automatic.  Both still work strong. The GOOD :?�     Theself-leveling suspension was abandoned (but reservoir in the spare tire well& ???bombs??? in the rear wheel wells still exist) and replaced with an H&R& Bilstein Sport suspension.?�     ALLbody panels still contain the VIN number, showing matching VIN numbers allaround, proving that this is an unmolested example, and never in any incidents.?�     Enginehas gone through many updates, including whole new cooling system (rad, waterpump, t-stat, fan, hoses, etc.), spark plugs, alternator, battery, etc.  Again, it pulls very strong.?�     Brandnew OEM air dam.  Fog lights are storedin trunk (until air dam was painted, which hasn??�t occurred yet).?�     ExtraOEM parts come with the deal.  New kidneygrilles, new front headlight grilles, hood vent grilles, upper & lowercontrol arms, and many more!! (refer to the pictures).  These were purchased to make it appear brand new after the re-spray.
?�     Thebest ???good??? of all, is that this example will be VERY easy to take to the nextlevel.  The not-so-GOOD ?�     Itobviously needs re-spray.  The roof& trunk are oxidized, but the rest of the panels are in goodcondition.  was planning to have thewhole car re-sprayed (after the dent & scrape behind RR tire were repaired ??�see pictures).?�     I gotrid of the TRX wheels & tires, and it currently runs on Style 42??�s withContinental tires (with plenty of tread). The Style 42??�s simply need to be refinished, and will look great.?�     Thefront seats need to be refinished ??� or replaced with sport seats (if you canscore pair).?�     Thehigh-beams don??�t work.  When activated,they actually kill power to the low-beams. A gremlin never chased down.?�     Heater& Air Conditioning work great, however, the fan just started making somenoise. For more photos, please contact me, and I'll send you link to DropBox folder containing 50+ photos.
