This auction is for my 1997 BMW M3 Sedan, speed manual, 128k, in Boston Green with factory optioned rear spoiler and dove interior. And according to the registry, this car is only one out of 4574 produced for BMW North America! This is is such nice car, one of the most fun for the buck I've ever had! But selling because our daughter just turned and my wife said we need vehicle that will carry more kid stuff (and happen to agree). Ok so here's what have to say about this impressive machine... So many cars are boring and have no soul to them! But this delivers!! It draws plenty of attention for those that know about sports cars and yet civil enough for the unsuspecting neighbor!! It has been adult owned and garage kept. Besides the sharp looking aftermarket wheels, the AKG bushing, clear corners and updated tail lamps, the car has pretty much stayed to its original form. All electronics work*, power seats, heated seats, mirrors, radio (stock), on board computer (OBC), cruise control, anti slip control, dash lights and warning lamps (still has the stickers from delivery on the instrument panel), heat, a/c. What doesn’t work are the rear windows. And the center air vent grill is broken. You can find these parts on eBay but it didn't bother me so spent money on more needed updates and maintenance. Update: just saw that the report shows this vehicle was in an accident in 2018. But this car has NEVER been in an accident. The incident occurred at my daughter's day care. noticed my driver's side mirror dangling when mom was backing out of her parking spot next to mine. Naturally stopped her, police was called and the police report stated her vehicle struck my car. few days later when her husband approached me in the same parking lot and said he had never seen his wife cry so much ever in their entire marriage when she came home. She then proceeded to tell her husband the true story which was she hit the window with her hips and that's what caused the mirror to fall. But she was too embarrassed to tell the truth, including the cops who wrote the police report in front of her!!! By the way, no damage was done. It is meant to pop off. But as you can imagine, her hips no matter how much cushioning there might or might not be, it had to have hurt for few days! True story. Too damn ridiculous to make up! Anyway, back to the car... Here's the most recent work (from newest to oldest): New Headlights (Glass). New AKG bushing in the lolly pop. New Front and Rear Sway bar bushings. New Rear trailing arm bushing, AKG. New Front and Rear Brake Pads, Rotors, Stainless Steel brake lines and dot Fluid. New Front and Rear Hubs, Bearings and Seals. New Blower Motor. New Tensioners, Belts, Idler pulleys. New Valve Cover Gasket. New Plugs. New Drain Plug. New Wheels and Tires. New Stop Lamp switch. New Muffler hanger and Heat Sheild. 11/2015 Power Steering; New suction hose, return hose, reservoir, drivers tie rod, rack boots, fluid. 11/2015 New clear corner lights and tail lamps. 11/2015 New Front Control Arm’s. 11/2015 New Radiator in 11/2013 New struts and sway bar end links at 114k Front and Rear on 8/2013 I’m sure there is more am forgetting. The service records while not fully complete, do give fair assessment of the servicing the car has had over the 21+ years (production date 7/97) all the way back to the original owner. While she is clean car, she is not perfect though. If she was, would ask twice the price. To find out more or to view the car feel free to send me message.
