OK, For reluctant sale is my 2004/05 BMW X5 E53d M57TU turbo diesel. I've had this car since 2009 as second owner and always taken good care of it. Car is in great condition for its age. Looks good, interior is nice and has some good options. It still has the original 19" wheels with good tyres only mths old, & comes with spare Tyre (pre-run flat) that's brand new. This is the sports pack option with turbo diesel 500Nm torque, speed tiptronic, speed variable suspension, quality leather interior, sun roof programmable driver seat, roof racks and Hayman Reese hitch.
To give some idea of its condition recent replacements includeNew cast iron exhaust manifold (replaces OEM stainless)Turbo overhaul (new GT2260V cartridge )New glow plugsNew Glow plug relayAll vacuum hoses replaced ALL control rods & linkages in the front end replaced & LNew CV axles assemblies replaced Front & LNew control rods Rear & R New brake pads front (rotors replaced previously)Rear Bake brake pads and rotor months ago.Upgrade touch screen Radio.navigationNew synthetic long live Nulon Oil. (replaced religiously Every 20k)New engine oil filterNew cabin filterNew PCV breatherFuel filter replaced recentlyTrans Oil and filter replaced last year (Nulon synthetic)Problem is have just had CanBus wiring issue appear that needs to be resolved, this has created the fabled BMW "transmission fail-safe mod" issue and don't have the resources to fix this. I'm relocating to Melbourne in weeks so don't see the point of paying $4K to ship the car Melbourne just so can work on it there. This would be perfect project for any auto elec/ elec apprentice looking for good deal to make some money.Interior is in very good condition for its age.Car has NEVER been crashed or dented.
