2008 BMW 335xi For the BMW enthusiast, don??�t think that there is anyquestion that the series  car stillpretty much defines the breed.  Itprobably has the best balance and aesthetics of any car in the BMW line.  It is also nicely and safely modifiable withmany high level tuners offering systems for performance upgrades.  Quick story here:  Ibought this car as gap filler about 6-12 months back as wait for anotherorder to come in.  I??�ve had an M3 (2001)and M-roadster before this.   neverreally liked either.   The M3 was toocontrived and the engine just sounded odd, the M-roadster??�s handling was plainterrifying.  Recently rented serieswhile in Ann Arbor and was quite impressed with the balance of the base 3series car, which led to the search for this one.  The 335xi is the best performing in the 3series stable, especially if you live in Oregon.  loved the look of this particular car (ithas great stance), which is what led to the purchase.  When the car arrived in Oregon thetransporter refused to take the car to the coast and would only drop it in amajor city.  had him deliver it toRasmussen BMW of Portland.  figuredwhile it was there I??�d have few Dinan performance upgrades done.  got call few days later from Will, whoheads their performance division, mentioning that ???we needed to talk???.  The conversation went like this,  ???Do you know what you??�ve got here?   This 335xi has the BMW Sport Package tobegin with, but has also been modified with : 1)  KW Variant Full coilover suspension2)  New Michelin Pilot Sport tires (vs. the stockrun flats)3)  Vishnu Procede Tune computer4)  AR catless downpipes5)  MagnaFlo catback exhaust We don??�t need to do anything to your car.   If were setting up 335 for myself I??�d doit exactly like this.  We are estimatingthat you have 509 Hp at the crank.???  Nicesurprise??�??�??�??� The series BMW hasn??�t been changed much cosmetically forquite few years, therefore 2008 still looks new.  The performance and balance in thisparticular car are astounding.  Back tothat M3, this thing will kick the crap out of most stock M3??�s at the track,sound better and be more fun to drive at just fraction of the cost.  Oh, and if you ever want to go skiing?  I??�ve been to Mount Hood Timberline Lodge inthe dead of winter in this thing twice without snow tires.  Try that with your M3. Call if you have any question. Chuck541-404-6736
